Anti-Laundering Policy

ANTI–MONEY LAUNDERING POLICY

We, Damansara Technology Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as “DTech”) will work to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism by implementing the basic standards of anti-money laundering and combating terrorism financing procedures through this Anti-Money Laundering Policy (“Policy”).

This Policy is in effective and copies of this Policy will be distributed to all, and all relevant employees must be thoroughly familiar with and make use of the material contained in this Policy.

Basic Principle

DTech recognizes the importance of preventing money laundering, and therefore will comply with international and Malaysian laws, and establish appropriate policies.

Administration
DTech will stipulate roles and internal controls within the company.

Reporting Officer

DTech will appoint, at least, one (1) Reporting Officer who will be responsible to notify, alert, and lodge a report for any suspicious transaction or activity on behalf of DTech to the relevant authority especially to the Bank Negara Malaysia and Royal Malaysia Police.

Monitoring and Reporting of Suspicious Transactions/Activities

DTech will implement and maintain measures for handling suspicious transactions. Our Reporting Officer will immediately report suspicious transactions to relevant authorities such as Bank Negara Malaysia and Royal Malaysia Police.

Customers and Merchants Due Diligence

DTech will implement and maintain appropriate measures to conduct Customers (as defined in our Terms and Conditions) and Merchants (as defined in our Terms and Conditions) due diligence.

DTech management will train employees in matters related to the prevention of money laundering and financing terrorism so that employees can implement immediate and appropriate measures for Customers and Merchants due diligence.

Record Keeping

Records must be kept of all documents obtained for the purpose of identification and all transaction data as well as other information related to money laundering matters in accordance with the applicable anti-money laundering laws and regulations of Malaysia.

All records will be kept for at least six (6) years.

Compliance Checks

DTech will check the adequacy of this Policy and compliance with this Policy, and continuously improve internal controls based on the outcomes of these checks.
